About Me

The Bridge Between Systems, Data and Humans

I build and maintain software for systems where reliability, clarity and correctness matter. With 11+ years across software engineering, manufacturing, electronics R&D and teaching, I build full-stack applications that make complex data usable.

I bring a systems perspective to full-stack work, connecting UI, data and operational reality. From factory-wide databases to high-performance dashboards, I focus on precision, scalability and usability.

Currently completing an MSc in Software Engineering (UOC), with a focus on distributed systems and full-stack architecture. Based in Basildon, Essex, I work comfortably across teams where software meets physical processes.

// Product Engineering & Systems Ownership

Software Engineer (Product & Systems)

NOTE Prototyping (Formerly Speed Assembly), BasildonJul '21 – Present
// Lesson: Human-Centric Systems

"Achieved 100% digital adoption by translating human friction into functional UI through user shadowing."

// Regulated Systems & Traceability

R&D Manufacturing Engineer

Olympus KeyMed, Southend-on-SeaMay '19 – Jun '21
// Lesson: Deterministic Integrity

"In regulated environments, traceability is a first-class requirement. I learned to build systems where compliance is embedded in the architecture rather than added later."

// Full-Stack System Expansion

Junior Software Engineer

DVR Limited (now NOTE Basildon), BasildonJan '18 – May '19
// Lesson: Full-Stack Transition

"Value emerges at the boundary between data and the user interface. I learned to navigate the full request–response cycle."

// Hardware-Accelerated Systems

R&D Electronics Design Engineer

DVR Limited, BasildonSep '16 – Dec '17
// Lesson: Hardware-Software Synergy

"Combining Python and computer vision reduced test latency from minutes to seconds, showing how software multiplies physical throughput."

// Educational Leadership

Electronics & Automation Lecturer and Course Leader

PROCAT (South Essex College), BasildonOct '14 – Aug '16
// Lesson: Technical Communication

"Teaching engineers forced me to deconstruct complex systems into clear mental models. That discipline later shaped how I document and design software."

// Communication Foundations

English Teacher

Inlingua, Mataró (Barcelona)Sep '10 – Aug '14
// Lesson: Non-Technical Communication

"Teaching English taught me to explain ideas when vocabulary fails, rebuilding explanations using examples, structure, and context."

Ready to simplify
your system?

Whether you're looking to refactor an internal tool or you're just starting a 0-to-1 project, I'm always open to discussing how we can make your software more reliable and human-friendly.

I read every message personally and usually get back to people within a day or two
